The Head of Engineering will lead BOUD’s engineering organization with a strong focus on AI-driven solutions, digital products, and innovation programs. This role requires a strategic technical leader who can drive the development of scalable AI systems, build high-performing teams, and translate business needs into cutting-edge technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering strategy with a strong emphasis on AI, data, and advanced technologies.
- Lead the design and development of AI-powered solutions, including machine learning models, data pipelines, and intelligent systems.
- Oversee end-to-end product development across software, data, and AI domains.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive system architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Establish engineering best practices across AI development, MLOps, and DevOps.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering and AI teams.
- Ensure efficient delivery aligned with timelines, quality, and business goals.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, LLMs, and digital innovation.
- Engage with clients on technical strategy, especially in AI and digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on or leadership experience in AI/ML, data platforms, or intelligent systems.
- Experience with modern AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, NLP, LLMs).
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms and scalable system architecture.
- Experience in building and leading cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology with strategic goals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
